What are the maximum daily limits for my transactions?

Interbank Transfer – DuitNow, DuitNow-Transfer & Interbank Giro (IBG)

Assuming you’ve set your daily limit to the maximum amount, here are some examples to help you understand the combined limit:

  • If you’ve made an IBG transaction of RM10,000, you can only transfer up to RM40,000 via DuitNow Transfer (to account) and DuitNow on the same day.
  • If you’ve made an DuitNow Transfer (to account) transaction of RM20,000 and a DuitNow transaction of RM20,000, you can only transfer up to RM10,000 via IBG on the same day.
  • If you’ve made an IBG transaction of RM50,000, you will not be able to make any more fund transfers via DuitNow Transfer (to account) and DuitNow on the same day.

Foreign Telegraphic Transfer (FTT) & Maybank Overseas Transfer (MOT)

RM 49,999 (Combined limit)

Assuming you’ve set your daily limit to the maximum amount, here are some examples to help you understand the combined limit:

  • If you’ve made an FTT transaction of RM10,000, you can only transfer up to RM39,999 via MOT on the same day.
  • If you’ve made an MOT transaction of RM10,000, you can only transfer up to RM39,999 via FTT on the same day.
  • If you’ve made an FTT transaction of RM49,999, you will not be able to make any more fund transfers via MOT on the same day.

Bakong Transfer (via MAE app)

RM 10,000 (Sub limit of the combined limit of FTT & MOT)

Assuming you’ve set your daily limit to the maximum amount, here are some examples to help you understand the sub limit:

  • If you’ve made an FTT transaction of RM10,000 and MOT transaction of RM15,000, you can only transfer up to RM10,000 via Bakong Transfer on the same day.
  • If you’ve made an MOT transaction of RM25,000 and FTT transaction of RM20,000, you can only transfer up to RM4,999 via Bakong Transfer on the same day.
