It is an alternative financing solution for applicants whose SME Digital Financing application were unsuccessful.

Powered by Funding Societies, it is the first of its kind aiming to help your business move forward and ensure no business is left behind.

Who is Funding Societies?


Funding Societies, Southeast Asia’s leading SME digital financing platform, has partnered with Maybank to deliver the SME Incubation Programme.

Who can apply?


Eligible Businesses: Sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, and Sdn Bhd companies that are:

  • Registered with SSM in Malaysia
  • At least 30% locally owned
  • Operating for ≥6 months
  • Minimum annual revenue of RM60,000 (approximately RM5,000/month)
  • Holding an active Maybank Current Account for fund disbursement
  • Clear financing standing (not blacklisted)

How to apply for this programme


Step 1: If your SME Digital Financing application isn’t successful but you’re eligible, you’ll receive an invitation to join the programme.

Step 2: Provide consent for Maybank to refer you to Funding Societies for alternative financing.

Step 3: Funding Societies will guide you through a quick digital process, and once approved, your funds will be deposited directly into your Maybank Current Account.

Documents needed


  • NRIC (Malaysian) or Passport (Non-Malaysian) of all Directors and Personal Guarantors.
  • Latest 6 months' bank statements reflecting at least 80% of business sales.
