I received an error message with the code 0089. What should I do?

The reject code 0089 for Interbank Fund Transfer transaction indicates either an issue with the transaction type, recipient's account information, or connection between the bank and the recipient's account.

If you are transferring to a loan or credit card account, kindly recheck with your recipient's bank (if you're transferring to your own account) on the issue. Alternatively, you may change the mode of transfer to Interbank GIRO and try again.

This could also be caused by an issue on your browser. Here's what you can do:

Step 1: Delete your browser history, cache and cookies.

Step 2: Try making the transaction again.
