We’ve introduced a new security verification process for MAE app PIN resets. If you reset your MAE app PIN, you will be required to verify your identity through one of the following methods:
- Verify using MyKad/Passport - Scan your ID (MyKad/Passport) and take a self-portrait photo within the app to complete the security verification.
- Verify using temporary M2U PIN - Visit any Maybank ATM to create a temporary M2U PIN, then use it within 48 hours to proceed with the security verification.
Notes:
- This verification only applies if you forgot your MAE app PIN and need to reset it. If you are not updating your PIN, no action is needed and you may continue to use the MAE app as usual.
- This update is only applicable to Individual/Sole Proprietor users.
