1.How do I check or update my mobile device’s operating system (OS)?
Go to ‘Settings’ on your mobile device, then tap on ‘About Device’. You should see an option to check for updates or upgrade your OS.

2.I’m unable to update my mobile device’s OS. What do I do?
You may need to check if your mobile device is compatible with the required OS version.

3.What happens if I do not update my OS?
Updating your OS helps keep your mobile banking experience safer and smoother. We highly encourage you to update to Android OS 14 or above / iOS 16 or above to enjoy better protection and the latest features on the MAE app.

4.My mobile device is old and is not eligible to update the OS. What do I do?
If your device cannot support the latest OS, we recommend using a newer device that can. This way, you can enjoy better security and a smoother experience on the MAE app. Please note, installing the MAE app on a new device will require you to activate Secure2u again at the Maybank ATM with a minimum of 12 hours cooling period. 5.Am I still able to use Maybank2u web?
Yes, you can still log in to Maybank2u through your device’s web browser. However, for your safety and convenience, we encourage you to update your mobile OS whenever possible for better security on your MAE app.

6.I am not sure whether my mobile device supports the OS required. How do I check?
Kindly refer to your device manufacturers’ official websites to see the list of supported operating systems.

FOR WEB BROWSER

1.Can I still access Maybank2u with an older browser version?
No. If your browser is outdated and incompatible with the current Maybank2u website, you’ll be prompted to update your browser to the latest version. You will be able to login to Maybank2u once your browser is updated according to the table provided above.

2.My Maybank2u session feels slow. What should I do?
An outdated browser can cause slow or unstable sessions. We recommend updating your browser to the latest version to improve speed and compatibility with Maybank2u.

3.Why should I update my web browser?
Updating your browser gives you faster access, better security, and a smoother experience when using online banking services.

4. How can I check if my browser is up to date?
There are different methods for different web browsers. We recommend that you to go to ‘Settings’ on your preferred web browser to find out more.
