Update Your MAE App by 11 April 2026 for Continued Access

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be informed that effective 11 April 2026, your MAE app will require the latest version 0.9.45 to remain accessible.  To avoid any disruption to your online banking experience, please update the MAE app before this date. If you are already on the latest version of the MAE app, no further action is required.

How do I update my MAE app?

  1. Launch the Apple App Store / Google Play Store / Huawei AppGallery
  2. Search for ‘MAE by Maybank2u’ to update the app

What if I don’t update my MAE app?

After 11 April 2026, you will not be able to access your MAE app.

To continue using the MAE app, you will just need to update the app via Apple App Store / Google Play Store / Huawei AppGallery.

How do I check my current MAE app version?

Method 1 – via App Store

  1. Launch your Apple App Store / Google Play Store / Huawei AppGallery
  2. Search for ‘MAE by Maybank2u’ and check that the version shows 0.9.45.

Method 2 – within the MAE app

  1. Launch your MAE app, tap on the gear icon on the top left to go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to ‘About’ to view your current MAE app version
