With the MAE app, you can now easily send money to anyone and anywhere around the world. This new feature enables you to perform Foreign Telegraphic Transfer (FTT), Maybank Overseas Transfer (MOT) or Maybank-Bakong transfer, and approve your transactions with Secure2u, all within the MAE app.

Here’s how to perform Overseas Funds Transfer via the MAE app:

Step 1: Launch the MAE app and tap on ‘Transfer’ under ‘Quick Action’

Step 2: Select the ‘Overseas’ tab and tap on the ‘Overseas’ button.

Step 3: For FTT & MOT, select the country you want to transfer to. For Maybank-Bakong transfer, select ‘Cambodia’.

Step 4: Select debiting amount, then enter transfer amount and currency.

Step 5: Select your preferred mode of transfer.

Step 6: Fill in recipient’s details.

Step 7: Approve the transfer using Secure2u, and you’re all set!

If you are performing Overseas Funds Transfer on the M2U MY app, you’ll still be able to approve transactions as usual. However, we highly recommend switching to the MAE app as it has all your favourite M2U banking features and beyond.
