What is Zakat Wakalah?

Wakalah refers to a policy where a Zakat payor is appointed as an agent to redistribute a portion of their paid Zakat directly to eligible Asnaf (beneficiaries).

We understand that you often know the needs of your immediate community best. This initiative allows you to channel aid directly to Asnaf within your reach; neighbours, extended family members or local organisations in need, ensuring your contribution makes a meaningful personal impact.

Why Apply for Wakalah?

  1. Personalised Impact - Make a direct impact by supporting the Asnaf closest to you—starting with your neighbours and extended kin.
  2. Empowerment - Take an active role in the stewardship and distribution of your Zakat contribution.
  3. Seamless Access - We bridge the connection between you and the Zakat collection body (PPZ) to facilitate a smooth application process.

Who Can Apply?

This privilege is exclusive to customers who meet the following criteria:

  1. Have paid Zakat amounting to RM20,000 and above in the current assessment year.
