A simple way to transfer and receive money using mobile number or ID number instantly

What is DuitNow?


DuitNow is a new service that enables you to transfer funds to your recipient’s DuitNow ID instead of their account number. You can register and transfer using DuitNow via Maybank2u.

Following IDs can be used for DuitNow registration:

1) Mobile Number 
2) NRIC
3) Army or Police Number
4) Passport Number 
5) Business Registration Number

Registration


You no longer need an account number to send or receive money! Just pair your TAC mobile number or NRIC/Passport Number in Maybank2u to start sending and receiving money using DuitNow.


DuitNow ID Registration via Maybank2u Web

  1. Login to Maybank2u
  2. Go to ‘Apply’
  3. Select ‘DuitNow’ and click ‘Apply Now’ to proceed for DuitNow ID registration.
  4. Select your preferred account number to pair with your ID number reflected in Maybank2u.
  5. Click ‘Done’ to complete the registration.


DuitNow ID Registration via Maybank App

  1. Launch your Maybank app and login
  2. Select ‘Me’ on the side menu
  3. Tap on ‘DuitNow’ and select ‘Register’ to proceed for DuitNow ID registration
  4. Select your preferred account number to pair with your ID number reflected in the app.
  5. Tap ‘Done’ to complete the registration

Transfer


Get your recipients’ DuitNow ID to start sending money using via Maybank2u.


DuitNow Transfer via Maybank2u Web

  1. Login to Maybank2u
  2. Click ‘Pay and Transfer’
  3. Select ‘Transfer To: DuitNow’
  4. Click ‘New Transfer’ and choose recipients’ DuitNow ID type
  5. Key in your DuitNow ID details e.g. DuitNow ID number, amount, recipient reference.
  6. Click ‘Transfer’
  7. Key in TAC number and click ‘Confirm’


DuitNow Transfer via Maybank app

  1. Login to Maybank app
  2. Click ‘Transfer’
  3. Select ‘Transfer via DuitNow’
  4. Choose your debiting account
  5. Tap on ‘New Transfer’ and key in your DuitNow ID details e.g. DuitNow ID number and select ‘Continue’
  6. Enter transfer amount and recipient reference and select ‘Continue’
  7. Confirm the transfer details before requesting for Authentication.
  8. Your transfer is successful, you may save the DuitNow ID as favourite or share your transfer receipt

De-registration


To de-register or think that your DuitNow ID number is invalid, follow these steps:

Note: If you think that DuitNow is invalid or outdated, please de-register and go to the nearest Maybank branch to update your latest  mobile number in your Maybank2u


DuitNow ID Deregistration via Maybank2u Web

  1. Login to Maybank2u
  2. Go to ‘Setting’
  3. Click ‘Pay and Transfer’
  4. Click ‘DuitNow’
  5. Toggle at the account that you wish to deregister.
  6. Click ‘Yes’ to deregister / ‘Deactivate Temporarily’ to proceed with DuitNow ID deregistration.


DuitNow ID Deregistration via Maybank App

  1. Login to Maybank app
  2. Select Me on the side menu
  3. Go to ‘DuitNow’
  4. Toggle to the account that you wish to deregister
  5. Click ‘Yes’ to deregister/ ‘Deactivate Temporarily’ to proceed with DuitNow ID deregistration
