Tap on ‘ATM Cash-out’ on your MAE app to activate the feature. There is a 24-hour cooling-off period for security checks before you can start using it.

You’ll receive a SMS and push notification on your smartphone upon successful activation.

 

Step-by-step guide on how to activate:

Step 1: Tap ‘ATM Cash-out’ under Quick Actions

Step 2: Enter your M2U password

 Step 3: Agree to the Terms & Conditions

Step 4: Approve the set up via Secure2u

 Step 5: Your set up is done! You will be able to use ATM Cash-out in 24 hours.

 

Note: Should you receive the notifications but did not activate the feature, please call our Maybank Customer Care Line at 1300-88-6688 within 24 hours for assistance.

Just launch your MAE app and scan the QR code on the ATM screen. Authorise with your biometric or 6-digit app PIN, key in the amount you wish to withdraw, then verify with Secure2u, and you’re done!

 

Step-by-step guide on how to withdraw:

Step 1: Tap ‘ATM Cash-out’ under Quick Actions

Step 2: Log in with your 6-digit PIN or Face ID

 Step 3: Select your preferred amount or enter an amount to withdraw

 Step 4: Scan the QR code on the ATM screen

Step 5: Select an account to withdraw from and tap ‘Withdraw Now’

Step 6: Wait for your withdrawal to be processed

Step 7: Collect your cash from the ATM upon successful withdrawal

One limit for all your withdrawals

There is no need to keep track of different limits, as all your money withdrawals via ATM card and ATM Cash-out count towards your existing daily limit.

No additional charges will be incurred for using ATM cash-out.

Safety tips when using ATM Cash-out

  1. Ensure no one is standing nearby and that your phone screen is not visible to those standing behind you when you log into your MAE app or when you enter your 6-digit MAE app PIN.
  2. Always ensure that you are physically present from start to end when performing your ATM Cash-out transactions, including the collection of cash.
  3. ONLY scan the QR code displayed on the ATM screen to perform an ATM Cash-out transaction, and NOT any other QR code placed on the ATM or obtained from anywhere else.
  4. No beneficiary account is required during an ATM Cash-out transaction. Should you be asked to enter a beneficiary account number, stop the transaction immediately.
  5. If you did not activate the ATM Cash-out feature but receive a 6-digit One Time Password (OTP) via SMS for its activation, please contact our Maybank Group Customer Centre hotline at 1-300-88-6688 immediately.
  6. If you receive any ATM Cash-out transaction notification sent via the MAE app but did not perform any ATM Cash-out transaction, please contact our Maybank Group Customer Centre hotline at 1-300-88-6688 immediately.
  7. Ensure your smartphone is PIN, pattern, or biometrics-protected and DO NOT leave it unattended or share your phone’s security login details with anyone.
