These are a few checks that you can do before you request for your SMS TAC / OTP again.

  1. Ensure that you have a good network coverage on your mobile phone.
  2. Check the spam setting / block sender / blacklisted sender / block short code to ensure that Maybank's SMS short code number (a 5-digit phone number) is not listed as a blocked number.
  3. If you have installed any antivirus application, switch it off or uninstall it temporarily and request for the TAC again.
  4. Ensure that your inbox message space is available in order to allow new message to be received.
  5. You may also change your SIM card to a different device and request for the TAC again.
  6. Restart your device and request for the TAC again.
