Dear Valued Customers,

Starting 12 January 2026, to bring greater convenience for our customers, we will be progressively rolling out a new enhancement that lets you change your payment limit on the MAE app.

For those with an imteen account, you will also be able to change your imteen daily payment, transfer and reload limits on the MAE app.

This update is part of our ongoing efforts to make banking easier for you. If you prefer to manage your payment limit via Maybank2u web, that option is still available too.

You can also change your transfer limit on the MAE app for added convenience.

To change your Pay Limit on the MAE app, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your MAE app and tap ‘Settings’ (top left corner)
2. Go to ‘Pay & Transfer’, select ‘Pay’, then select ‘Pay Limit’
3. Tap your preferred payment type
4. Select your new daily limit from the dropdown menu
5. Tap ‘Save Changes’ and verify with Secure2u (only required for limit increases)

To change your imteen Daily Limit for Payment, Transfer & Reload on the MAE app, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your MAE app and tap ‘Settings’ (top left corner)
2. Go to ‘Pay & Transfer’, select ‘Daily Limit’, and select ‘Pay, Transfer & Reload Daily Limit’
3. Select your new daily limit from the dropdown menu
4. Tap ‘Save Changes’ and verify with Secure2u (only required for limit increases)

Important Note:
As a security measure to protect your accounts, any increase in payment, transfer and reload limit will trigger a 12-hour cooling-off period. You can still continue to make payments up to your current limit during this time. Once the cooling-off period ends, your new limit will take effect. You will be notified via the MAE app or SMS when the period starts and ends.

We encourage you to:

• Regularly review your daily limits for payment, transfer and reload services
• Only increase your limit based on your actual needs
• Monitor your account activity and report anything suspicious

If you suspect someone has unauthorised access to your Maybank2u account, quickly activate the Kill Switch via the MAE app or Maybank2u web to temporarily block access to your account(s) and protect your money.
