*Important note:
The cash back to be awarded under this promotion is limited and is capped at RM30,000 per month (RM60,000 throughout the 2-month promotion period), and it will be awarded to the eligible cardmembers on a first come, first served basis.
Cash back is only applicable to cardmembers who add their Maybank credit or charge cards to Apple Wallet app and spend using Apple Pay for the first time. Each eligible cardmember is entitled up to one (1) unit of cash back throughout the promotion period.
Terms & Conditions
- Payment must be made using Apple Pay with a Maybank Mastercard®, Visa, American Express® Credit or Charge Card.
- Promotion is valid from 1 October 2024 – 30 November 2024, subject to monthly cash back availability.
- Cash back is only applicable to cardmembers who add their first Maybank Credit or Charge card(s) to Apple Wallet app and spend using Apple Pay for the first time.
- In order to be eligible for the RM16 cash back, the eligible cardmember must perform at least two (2) transactions with a minimum spend of RM50 per transaction, using Apple Pay with a Maybank Credit or Charge Card.
- All eligible transactions must be performed within the same calendar month of the eligible credit or charge card provisioned to Apple Wallet app.
- Cash back will be awarded on a first come, first served basis, and capped at RM16 per eligible cardmember with the maximum payout of RM30,000 per month.
- The qualified transaction shall include all retail spend (refers to any purchase of any goods or services at brick-and-mortar retail stores), and online purchases transacted locally and internationally via Apple Pay with a Maybank Credit or Charge Card during the promotion period based on local transaction time (Malaysia time).
- The qualified transaction excludes unposted, void, subsequently cancelled or refunded, disputed, unauthorised or fraudulent transactions.
- The sequence of cash back reward to the eligible cardmembers is in accordance to the merchant settlement time (in Malaysia time) of the qualified transactions recorded in Maybank system. Maybank shall not be held responsible or liable for any delay in the posting of the qualified transactions to the eligible cardmembers’ card account(s) and/or error or omission in the posting of the qualified transactions due to any reasons whatsoever and howsoever arising including but not limited to the delay on the part of the merchant unless the same is due to the gross negligence and/or default of Maybank.
- Cash back will be credited into the card account of the eligible cardmembers within 8 weeks after the qualified transaction is being made.
- At the time of the receipt of the cash back, the eligible cardmembers’ card account(s) MUST NOT be delinquent, and/or be invalid or cancelled, otherwise the eligible cardmembers will be disqualified from receiving the cash back.
- Offer cannot be exchanged for cash or used in conjunction with other promotions/offers/coupons/vouchers and loyalty/privilege cards.
