How do I read my Maybank credit card statement?

As a principal Maybankard credit card cardholder, you will receive a statement of your card account each month. If you have opted for a joint principal and supplementary statement, your statement will include both the principal and supplementary cardmembers' expenditure and charges. Each expense is clearly separated and identified by name and card number.

1. The date by which payment must be made to avoid late charges.
2. The amount owing after all transactions for the month have been recorded.
3. The minimum payment you are required to make for the month.
4. A breakdown of your card activities.
5. Bonus TreatsPoints earned at participating merchants.
6. TreatsPoints earned, redeemed and accumulated to date.
7. The latest news, updates and promotions.

How do I increase my credit card limit?

If you need an increase in credit limit, please follow the steps below:

I missed the connecting flight purchased using my Maybankard credit card. Can I make a claim?

Should you miss your connecting flight and if no rescheduling is made within 12 hours of your incoming flight, you may claim for expenses incurred.

Can I claim for luggage delay?

You may claim for purchase of essential requisites and clothings if your luggage does not arrive within 12 hours of arrival at the scheduled destination of your flight.

What about lost luggage?

You may claim for purchase of essential requisites and clothings if your luggage does not arrive within 48 hours of arrival at the scheduled destination of your flight.

What documents do I need to submit when making a claim?

To facilitate claims, please include:

• Sales draft showing that items in the claim including air ticket was charged to your Maybank Credit Card
• Photocopy of air ticket
• Relevant confirmation letter from the airline company
• For flight misconnections, please include the sales drafts showing that accommodation, meals and refreshments were charged to your Maybank Credit Card
• For luggage delayed or lost, please include sales drafts showing purchases of essential clothings and requisites were charged to your Maybank Credit Card
