The Search is Over! We've Found Our 3rd MAE-llionaire!

Congratulations to our ‘MAE-llionaire’ winner, Muhammad Fadhirul Bin Mohd Rozi!

A regular Monday turned extraordinary for 37-year-old Muhammad Fadhirul, a secondary school Sejarah teacher in Penang.

Just 20 minutes before his class, he received a phone call claiming he had won RM1 million from a Maybank contest. Initially fearing it was a scam, Fadhirul even verified the call with Maybank’s customer care and checked online before believing it was true. He was in disbelief because he had won RM1 million simply by using the MAE app for his everyday transactions, something he did without ever expecting such a life-changing reward.

With the prize money, Fadhirul plans to continue working as usual. Beyond settling loans and making investments, he hopes to take his wife to perform Hajj and build a family holiday home in her hometown of Pulau Langkawi.

Though Maybank has long been his main bank, it was his wife who encouraged him to go digital and taught him how to use the MAE app and Maybank2u web. Today, he regularly uses it for transfers, zakat, ASNB and Tabung Haji – a small shift that made a big difference in his daily life, reaffirming Maybank’s commitment to empowering our customers through convenient digital banking solutions.
