Dear Valued Customer,

Effective 16th January 2017, customers are no longer required to issue House Cheques when making payments at our branch counters to the following entities:

  • Inland Revenue Board (IRB)
  • Employees Provident Funds (EPF)
  • Social Security Organisation (SOCSO)

Instead, Business customers will just need to provide an authorization letter for such payments, while Individual customers are required to be present at the home branch and sign the payment slip for payments to any of the three entities.

Other modes of payments such as debiting of account, use of cheques from other Maybank branches, or other banks and cash deposit via branch counters for the above transactions will still be accepted.

Alternatively, for your convenience, we wish to advise you to make payments via Maybank2e (LHDN, EPF & SOCSO) or Maybank2u (LHDN & EPF only).

If you have any further enquiries, please contact our branch officers or our 24-hour Customer Care hotline at 1300 88 6688.
