Account Opening Requirements

Below are the required original documents for the opening of a new account:

MyKad (IC)/Police or Armed Forces ID Card.
Birth Certificate (for children accounts).
Passport (for non-residents).

You are highly encouraged to bring along any of the following supporting documents for further identification in case of ambiguity (e.g. MyKad chip cannot be read):

Passport (for residents).
Valid driver's license.
Utility bills in your name (e.g. water/electricity/telephone bills/quit rent/assessment notice).
Letter of Confirmation from employer, educational institution etc.
Credit card.
