Interbank GIRO (IBG)

The maximum combined limit for Interbank GIRO (IBG), DuitNow Transfer (to account) and DuitNow is RM50,000 per day. You can change your transaction limits in the settings.

Let’s say you’ve set your daily limit to the maximum amount, here are some examples:

• If you’ve made an IBG transaction of RM10,000, you can only transfer up to RM40,000 via DuitNow Transfer (to account) and DuitNow on the same day.
• If you’ve made an DuitNow Transfer (to account) transaction of RM20,000 and a DuitNow transaction of RM20,000, you can only transfer up to RM10,000 via IBG on the same day.
• If you’ve made an IBG transaction of RM50,000, you will not be able to make any more fund transfers via DuitNow Transfer (to account) and DuitNow on the same day.

*A customer can have the flexibility to enjoy a higher transfer limit based on the total investable assets with the bank.

Interbank Giro (IBG) service fee of RM0.10 will be waived on 8 September 2018 onwards

Interbank GIRO (IBG) via M2U

1. Key in your username at the login page and click "Next"

2. Verify security image and key in password and click "Login"

3. Go to "Accounts and Banking"

4. Select "Transfer"

5. Select "New interbank fund transfer"

6. Choose "Recipient Bank"

7. Key in amount and choose mode of transfer "Giro Interbank Fund Transfer"

8. Enter recipient name, select "Transaction Type" and enter account number

9. Recipient ID to be validated at the recipient bank option to choose "YES" or "NO"

10. Key in recipient reference field (mandatory) and select "Continue"

11. Transaction details will be displayed

12. Request for Transaction Authorization Code (TAC). TAC will be sent to registered mobile phone number via SMS

13. Key in the TAC and "Confirm" the transaction

14. Transaction successful message is displayed

15. Click on "Print Receipt" if receipt is required

Important Notice

Before completing the transaction, customers are to ensure the beneficiary account number keyed in is correct

Quick Registration

It's now that much easier to register an Interbank GIRO as a favorite! You can choose to add your favorites using our Manage/Add Favorites function, or just perform a Quick Registration. Just follow the instructions below:

1. When making an Open Interbank GIRO, just click on the 'Add as Favorite Interbank GIRO' link to register the transfer as a favorite.

2. Enter your Payment type, Account number, Recipient name and mobile number, as well as your preference for Recipient ID Validation.

3. Click 'Continue'.

4. Enter a TAC.

5. Click 'Confirm' and the transfer will immediately be added to your favorite list.

* You can have a maximum of 50 favorite Interbank Accounts in your favorite list.

Recurring is a service that allows customers to create transactions that repeat in a periodic manner (i.e. on a monthly basis) with a fixed amount.

Recurring Flow

• The amount will be debited from the selected ‘Starting Date' and ‘End Date' after 5.00pm. However, the transaction depends on the available balance for the dates selected.
• Recurring transfer will discontinue if user's Internet banking facility is inactive.
• The recurring frequency is ONLY available for monthly transaction.

Future Fund Transfer allows transfers on a specific date, selected by customers.

Future Fund Transfer Flow

• The amount will be debited on the selected future date after 5.00pm. However, the transaction depends on the available balance of the effective date that you have selected.
• Customers are allowed to make transfers up to ONE (1) month from the current date.
