Save our Malayan tigers from extinction!

There are now less than 200 Malayan tigers left in the wild today. The time to take action to save them from extinction is NOW. Pledge your support for the protection of our tigers and save ‘WWF-Malaysia’ as a favourite payee on Maybank2u to donate.

TAKE ACTION FOR OUR TIGERS

We can't afford to lose our national animal. The Malayan tigers are key to a healthy forest ecosystem, which we need for climate change mitigation, freshwater, clean air and recreation. But they have recently been classified as a ‘Critically Endangered’ species under the IUCN Red List, with less than 200 left in the wild.

If we don't act soon and help to conserve their natural habitat, they face an extremely high chance of extinction in the wild.

Since 2016, WWF-Malaysia and Maybank have enhanced Malayan tiger conservation in the Belum-Temengor Forest Complex – a priority tiger habitat – by increasing the number of anti-poaching patrols, stepping up monitoring and engaging local communities. The partnership was key in Royal Belum State Park registering for Conservation Assured Tiger Standards, which helps assure the effective, long-term protection of Malayan tigers.

You too can help save our Malayan tigers, save our forests, and save ourselves by taking action! Here are some ways you can help make a difference:
