What is Maybank Islamic Gold Account-i (MIGA-i)?
MIGA-i is Maybank's Shariah-compliant gold investment account that lets you invest in digital gold with 999.9 purity without the need to hold physical gold and worry about its security. If you prefer, you also have the option to convert your gold investment into physical gold bars (from 1g to 1,000g).

Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will I be eligible to win a prize more than once?
You are eligible to win more than once for the weekly prizes but only in subsequent months. For example, if you have won the weekly prize on week 1 of July, the next time you will be eligible to win the weekly prize is on week 1 of August. Weekly prize winners are also eligible to enter the Grand Prize lucky draw..
2. Am I allowed to transfer my available MIGA-i balance to other active MIGA-i accounts?
Yes, you are allowed to transfer your available gold balance, in grams, from your MIGA-i account to other MIGA-i accounts which are registered under your name for joint account and/or a third party name via Maybank2u web. You may transfer up to a maximum gold value of RM50,000 per day based on the prevailing Bank buy price.
2. When can I buy and sell gold?
The transaction hours for MIGA-i on the MAE app and Maybank2u website are from 8:30 AM to 11:59 PM (MYT, UTC +8) daily, including weekends and public holidays.
4. Why does my profit show a negative value right after I invest?
This is due to the price difference between buying and selling gold, known as the “spread”. When you buy gold, you pay a slightly higher price than what you would receive if you sold it immediately. This is why your profit may show a small negative value at the start. Over time, your investment value may change based on market gold prices, which can go up or down.
5. If I invested a total of RM15,000 in multiple transactions throughout the campaign period, how many entries am I entitled to?
You are entitled to 3 entries. This is because every RM5,000 invested during the campaign period earns a customer 1 entry into the Main Prize draw.
6. If I have made transactions that qualify me to earn entries but I transferred or sold some of my digital gold during the campaign period, do I still stand to win?
Yes, as long as you have not closed your MIGA-i account.
7. Is there a maximum cap to the number of entries into the Main Prize draw that I could earn?
No there isn’t.
8. Do I need to opt-in somewhere to participate in this campaign?
No. You will automatically join the campaign by carrying out the eligible transactions.
9. If I have more than one MIGA-i account and made investment in all accounts, do I earn entries with all of my accounts?
Yes, you will earn entries with every MIGA-i account that is under your name (i.e. your individual account and joint accounts) as long as you carry out eligible transactions under those accounts.
