Here’s how to participate
Step 1: Launch the MAE app
Step 2: Tap ‘Apply’ on the navigation bar
Step 3: Under ‘Accounts’, select Global Access Account-i
Step 4: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your application
Step 5: Make an initial deposit of RM555 during account opening. This must be your first deposit to activate the account.
Note: To apply for Maybank Global Access Account-i, you must first be a Maybank or Maybank Islamic customer. You may open a current/-i, savings/-i or investment account through the MAE app/Maybank2u web

- How are winners for this campaign selected?
Customers will be selected on a first-come-first-served basis. The first 250 customers weekly to apply for a Global Access Account-i and make an initial deposit of RM555.
- Do I need to have an existing Maybank/Maybank Islamic Current or Savings Account in order to open a Global Access Account-i ?
Yes, you will need to have an existing Maybank/Maybank Islamic Current or Savings Account in order to open a Global Access Account-i.
- Where will the RM55 cash reward be credited to?
The RM55 cash reward will be credited into the customer’s Maybank Global Access Account-i. - How do I know if I’m one of the winner?
If you win, you will receive a push notification via the MAE app. - I already have a Maybank account. Can I still join?
Yes. As long as you are eligible to apply and successfully open a new Maybank Global Access Account-i. - I made the RM555 deposit after my account was opened. Will I still qualify?
No. To qualify, the RM555 must be made during account opening as your very first deposit. Deposits made later will not be counted.
