Portfolio Financing/Islamic Portfolio Financing (PF/IPF) is a short term revolving credit facility that allows you to pledge acceptable collaterals with Maybank/Maybank Islamic to access additional funds for investment purposes.

How Does it Work?
The PF/IPF facility allows you to draw down and invest in:
- Retail Bonds/Sukuk
- Conventional and Islamic Unit Trust Funds
For IPF, the re-investment is limited to Sukuk and Islamic Unit Trust only.
The credit limit of the PF/IPF facility shall be approved based on the collaterals pledged for financing.
Financing* amount:
- Minimum RM1 million
- Maximum RM10 million**
*Subject to meeting the requirement set by the bank.
**Foreign currency borrowing by Malaysian Resident individuals is subject to an aggregate limit of RM10 million. If the aggregate amount exceeds the prudential limit for the same calendar year, to obtain BNM approval from the resident client before proceeding with the loan application.

Note:
- For residents with MYR-denominated facilities, the drawdown currency must be in MYR.
- For residents with USD-denominated facilities, the drawdown currency can be any of the G10 currencies namely USD, SGD, AUD, NZD, GBP, EUR, HKD, JPY, CAD, CHF
- Residents can apply both MYR and USD Facility while Non-Residents can only apply USD facility

- Aged 18 years and above
- Holding a minimum Asset Under Management (AUM) of RM500,000
- Sophisticated investor as defined by Securities Commissions Malaysia
