Disablement of ATM Cash Withdrawal for Maybank Prepaid Cards
Dear Valued Prepaid Cardmembers,
Please be informed that effective 20 January 2019, the ATM cash withdrawal feature for Maybank Prepaid Cards within Malaysia and overseas will be disabled. However, Maybank Prepaid Cards can still be used for retail transactions including online and in-store purchases, local and overseas.
For Cardmembers who wish to close their Prepaid Card account and request for refund of the remaining card balance, please refer to the below.
- Maybank customers with Maybank Current/ Savings Account – Prepaid Cardmembers may request to transfer the remaining card balance to their Maybank Savings or Current Account.
- Maybank customers without Maybank Current/ Savings Account – Prepaid Cardmembers may request to transfer the remaining card balance to their other LOCAL bank account.
- Foreign customers without Maybank Current/ Savings Account – Prepaid Cardmembers are advised to utilise the card balance for retail transactions including online and in-store purchases, local and overseas.
Steps for refund:
- Download and complete the Maybank Credit Card Report Form.
- Email the completed form and include a copy of NRIC / Passport to prepaidcard@maybank.com
- Refund process will be done within 14 working days.
