What is a Premier Mudharabah Account-i (PMA-i)?

The Premier Mudharabah Account-i is a Shariah-compliant investment account that offers customers the opportunity to earn higher indicative returns and Takaful coverage.

Based on the Islamic concept of Mudarabah, profits are shared between the customer and the Bank according to a pre-agreed ratio. PMA-i is now accessible via the MAE app and Maybank2u website.

Profits are paid monthly and are subject to the respective balance band.

*Where permitted, any unplanned temporary excess in any Islamic Account due to amount advanced by the Bank shall be treated as loan (Qard) granted by the Bank to the account holder.
