How to Apply

For Malaysians and Permanent residents aged 18 and above; Joint account up to 4 persons, also for Micro and Small Enterprises under SME category


To apply:

Visit a Maybank branch near you with your primary documents.

Required Primary Documents:

For Malaysians, primary documents include the original Identity Card (IC), Police or Armed Forces ID Card.

For Micro and Small Enterprises*, the required primary documents are set out as per table below:

  1. Identity card (Malaysian Citizen) / MyPR (Permanent Resident of Malaysia) of the proprietor/all partners and authorised signatories
  2. Certificate of Registration/Business Registration
  3. Form D (Business License)
  4. Deed of Partnership (for Partnership only)
  5. Letter of Introduction
  6. Mandate Letter
  1. Board Resolution/Letter of appointment of authorised signatories
  2. License or Certificate issued by the Registrar of Societies or statutory bodies
  3. Rules and Regulations / By Laws / Constitution
  4. Letter for Bar Council (for Law Firms)
  5. Certificate of Registration of Law Firms (for Law Firms)
  6. Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate (for Law Firms)
  7. Identification document of Partners, authorised Signatories and Controlling Person (UBO)
  1. Memorandum and Articles of Association/Constitution/CoSec Confirmation New Act Sec21
  2. Copy of all directors’ identity card / passport (if foreigner) and authorised signatories
  3. Form 9 (Certificate of Incorporation of Private Company)/Notice of Registration
  4. Form 13 (Change of Company Name)/Notice of Registration of New Name
  5. Form 24/Return for Allotment of Shares
  6. Form 49/Notification of change in the Register of Directors, Managers & Secretaries

Sales turnover of less than RM300,000 OR less than 5 full-time employees.

Sales turnover from RM300,000 to less than RM3 million OR full-time employees from 5 to less than 30

If a business fulfills either one criteria across the different sizes of operation, then the smaller size will be applicable. For example if a firm’s sales turnover falls under microenterprise but employment falls under small, the business will be deemed as a microenterprise.
