So how do I apply?

First are you an individual aged 18 years or above, or a company, association or club?
Do you have an introducer?

And please note the minimum deposit of RM1,000 for an individual/joint account or a minimum deposit of RM2,000 for other accounts.

Ok? Then next steps:

Visit your nearest Maybank/Maybank Islamic branch, bring along your original Identity Card (IC) for Malaysians and Passport for foreigners as your primary document

Plus as supporting documents any one of the following:
A valid passport (if IC is produced as a Primary document), a valid driving license, utility bills (e.g. water/electricity/telephone bills, Quit Rent, Assessment Notice in the name and address of the customer opening the account, a Letter of employment or your Credit card.
