Maybank Investment Bank Issues 8 New Call Warrants

January 29, 2013 - Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (Maybank IB) is issuing eight new European style cash-settled structured warrants over ordinary shares of Boustead Holdings Berhad (BSTEAD), IJM Land Berhad (IJMLAND), KLCC Property Holdings Berhad (KLCCP), Mah Sing Group Berhad (MAHSING), Oriental Holdings Berhad (ORIENT), Padini Holdings Berhad (PADINI), Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad (TCHONG) and YTL Corporation Berhad (YTL). The warrants will be listed on 30 January 2013 with an issue size of 100 million each.

BSTEAD, IJMLAND and TCHONG warrants have a ratio of 5 for each underlying share and a gearing of 6.60 times, 2.81 times and 6.67 times respectively. MAHSING and PADINI warrants have an exercise ratio of 3 for every 1 underlying share and a gearing of 5.00 times and 4.04 times each. KLCCP warrants have an exercise ratio of 6 for every 1 share and a gearing of 7.06 times. ORIENT warrants have an exercise ratio of 12 for every 1 share and a gearing of 4.77 times. YTL warrants have an exercise ratio of 2 for every 1 share and a gearing of 6.03 times. All of these call warrants have 9 months to expiry.
