Maybank GO Ahead. Challenge is now open for application! Maybank Group is organizing this competition with the aim of discovering hidden gems in universities in 6 countries across Asia. Top students in penultimate or final year will compete with other students from Malaysia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore in a unique business case competition.
Participants will go through 2 national level challenges and top 30 participants will be selected as finalists for the grand finale which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Finalists also stand a chance to get fast pass to join Global Maybank Apprentice Programme (GMAP), a targeted development programme to nurture young leaders.
The competition structure is as follows:
Preliminary Rounds:

- Online assessment
National Levels:
- Innovative Challenge” and “Business Case Analysis & Presentation”.
Grand Finale:
- Implementation Challenge
Application Criteria
Students who:
- Are pursuing their penultimate or final year of their tertiary education in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Philippines and Hong Kong.
- Have strong academic credentials from any discipline (CGPA of 3.0 and above or its equivalent).
- Possess good communication skills
- Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Display strong leadership qualities and are active in extracurricular activities
