How to change the basic sum assured, plan or policy term

Increase in Basic Sum Assured/Plan/Policy Term

If you intend to change the basic sum assured/plan/policy term, please complete and submit the following:

The above changes can be applied to be effected within 1st policy year only and ideally must reach us within the 1st policy year too. This is subject to the minimum premium allowed for the product.

Decrease in Basic Sum Assured

Please submit the Request for Change Form (Download PDF form)

If you are decreasing the sum assured, please ensure that the revised amount is clearly indicated in the Request for Change Form.

Once the changes have been approved, it will be effective from the next premium due date.

If the Basic Sum Assured is reduced, the Sum Assured of the Supplementary Riders may also have to be reduced in accordance to the product specification. This is subject to the minimum premium allowed for the product.
