• Merchant authentication

  Maybankard.net generates a unique user ID and password for each merchant website, which is used to authenticate the merchant during the processing of payment and other messages. In addition to user ID/password-based merchant authentication, SSL/TLS server certificates are used in order to securely exchange information between merchant sites and Maybankard.net

• Merchant payment processing

  Maybankard.net Payment Gateway offers the capability to perform the entire checkout process on behalf of merchants. The merchant needs only to redirect the customer's browser to a specific URL on Maybankard.net where its checkout page is hosted. The Maybankard.net server will then take care of the entire checkout process and redirect the customer's browser back to the merchant's website when the order has been processed

• Merchant reconciliation file

  Maybankard.net can produce a merchant reconciliation file containing details of transactions that have been settled for a merchant

• Data security

  Maybankard.net MPI uses the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) method to securely encrypt critical information stored in the Maybankard.net MPI database, as per the Payment Associations' best practice recommendations. The private key used for the encryption of the data is dynamically generated using merchant-specific data
