What is MSOS Code?

Introducing MSOS Code which uses One-Time-Password (OTP) for Online Transaction which is an extension of American Express SafeKey®, VBV/ MasterCard SecureCode, 3D-Secure solution which is fully adaptable to the 3D-Secure architecture & protocol defined by American Express, VISA / MasterCard. This new enhances security feature takes advantage of mobile communication by sending the MSOS Code to your registered mobile number with Maybank. You will be required to enter the MSOS Code online to complete the transaction.

How To Make An Online Purchases With MSOS Code?

Step 1:	Please ensure your latest mobile number is the same number registered with Maybank. Otherwise, kindly call our Customer Care Hotline at 1-300-88-6688 or Amex Customer Care Hotline at 1-800-88-9559 or visit our nearest branch to update or register.
Step 2:	Fill in your card particulars for authentication purpose at merchant webpage
Step 3:	Upon completing, you will be directed to Maybank's authentication page where you will be required to key in the MSOS Code. The MSOS will be sent to your mobile phone within 30-45 seconds
Step 4:	Please check if your mobile number is the same with as shown in Maybank's authentication page. Otherwise, please call our Customer Care Hotline at 1-300-88-6688 or Amex Customer Care Hotline at 1-800-88-9559
Step 5:	Enter the MSOS Code at Maybank's authentication page and click submit to complete your authentication and proceed with the payment
