With the implementation of Sistem Penjelasan Informasi Cek Kebangsaan secara Elektronik (eSPICK), all inward returned cheques will not be physically returned to the depositor. Instead, the Collecting Bank will issue the following types of notifications to the account holder:
| Type of Return Cheque Document Sent | Mode of Delivery | Charges Borne by Account holder (Depositor) |
| Return Cheque Advice (RCA) | By normal mail | RM0.00 |
| Image Return Document (IRD) | By Courier Service | RM5.00 |
The common feedbacks received from customers were the delays in receiving the Return Cheque Document. The delay in receiving the documents could have some negative impact in their cash flow planning.
As such, Maybank is taking the initiative to bridge the gap by tapping on to the advance communication technologies to meet our customers' needs for important information to reach them quickly.
