1. What is the difference between Maybankard Visa Wave and other Maybankard credit cards?

   Visa Wave credit card is read via a contactless reader (known as a "dongle") for transactions less than RM150. Any amount more than RM150* will be transacted via an EDC machine and a signature will be required.

2. Do I need to hand over my Visa Wave card to a cashier?

   No. Just hold your card within 4cm of the reader and your card will be detected.

3. How easy is it for someone to pick up my credit card number via a wireless communication?

   Visa Wave is designed to be highly secure, with multiple layers of encryption and fraud detection. The card's signal is designed to operate over short distances to avoid interference and interception.
