Foreign Telegraphic Transfer

1. Can I send cash?

   Yes, but only to 6 countries — Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Pakistan and Singapore. Cash transfers can be collected over the counter by the receiving party upon producing necessary identification. You may also transfer directly to a 3rd party account.

2. Can I transfer money to anyone as long as they are overseas?

   Yes. You may transfer foreign currency to your children studying abroad, as well as friends or relatives travelling or living abroad.

3. Can my Foreign TT request be reversed and refunded?

   No, your TT will be returned only if any beneficiary details are incorrect. The RM10 bank fee is not refundable.
